DW STADIUM ??

I was asked this question the other day , and that was are there any plans to " RETURF " the DW stadium in the short term , as i said someone said the up and coming Challenge Cup Tie V Warrington might not go ahead due to the pitch being done again ,has anyone heard other wise?????

The replacing of the turf started over a week ago. I don’t think it will be finished for the cup tie. I would say LSV would be where the match is played.

Next home match 30th June v Huddersfield

The game has now been confirmed to take place on Sunday the 18/06/2023 at the DW Stadium which comes as no surprise with the present financial problems of the Latics in paying wages.

Time that the nonsense of the Warriors not playing at the Stadium for six weeks was ended now that the Latics are no longer in the Premiership Football world of a annual new pitch.
